Great House, very large and very clean and tidy, great value!

We had 3 adults and 2 kids age 5&7. My wife and I took the master bedroom, it has a large California King bed and nice master bath. Nana took the guest room, we had to two single bed pushed together to make a double or queen which was large enough for her. Originally, the two kids were going to sleep in the loft in the queen bed up there but we were a little concerned the 5 year old may stumble down the stairs late at night to use the bathroom. They probably would have been fine but there were 2 bed mats that we layed out in the large living/dining area and the kids just slept down there. There is A/C in the bedrooms only, which are brand new and work very well. We only used them half the nights we were there. It cooled off the other nights enough to just run the fans and leave the windows open. The kids just used fans in the living room and were nice and cool. The place is very spacious, especially the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, had everything we needed, even extra spices, oil, etc. The back porch/yard was great also. Kids played on the grass, we bbq one night on the charcoal Webber. The outdoor shower was used often and was great. Washer and Dryer. Plenty of beach toys, snorkel gear, beach gear, chairs, even a cooler to borrow. Location is awesome. Closest to Waioli beach and the Old Church/Farmers market area. The Waioli beach had some rip tides the week we were there but just up the beach 3-4 blocks away the Hanalei Pavallion was calm enough for everyone. We swam and boogie boarded, gentle waves and great sand. We went to the farmers market on Saturday, a 5 minute walk. Walked to town several times, maybe a 10 minute walk at most. Spent time at Anini Beach as well, snorkeling was the best over there, since everything past Hanalei is closed because of the last years floods. Only disappointment was everything is closed to public past the Waioli stream, highway and beaches. The closure is 1/2 block past the place. Nothing anyone could do about this, we knew Haena and Napali were closed but were optimistic Tunnels and Ke’e were going to open but they are not currently. Next time! Had many fun adventures all over the island, we have been before, it was the kids first time and they loved it! We will be back and will strongly considered staying here again! Thanks again to the owners, caretakers and cleaners, very easy to communicate with! 04/11/2019 at 9:26 PM
