Hiking
Kauai is a fabulous place to hike. The North Shore has the Waikoa Loop Trail which is relatively new & the iconic Na Pali Coast Trail, which is in this photo of myself with my dogs and friend Liz. The East side has the Sleeping Giant trails as well as others into waterfall basins and cold streams. Kokee has fabulous trails for views. This web site I`m referring you to has a good list.
Limahuli Gardens
One of my favorite gardens, Limahuli Garden and Preserve is set in a verdant tropical valley on the way to Ke`e Beach. Majestic Makana Mountain overlooks the gardens and ancient taro terraces, while the garden climbs a hill which overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
